Privacy Policy for Spreant Ride & Spreant Driver

This Privacy Policy explains how Spreant Ride ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards your information when you use the Spreant Ride (for riders) and Spreant Driver (for drivers) mobile applications (collectively, the "Apps"). Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. If you do not agree with the terms of this privacy policy, please do not access the Applications.
1. Information We Collect
We may collect information about you in a variety of ways. The information we may collect via the Apps depends on the content and materials you use, and includes:
A. Personal Data
Demographic and other personally identifiable information that you voluntarily give to us when choosing to participate in various activities related to the Apps, such as:
- Account Information: Name, email address, phone number, profile picture, and password.
- Driver Specific: Driver's license details, vehicle registration, insurance information, and background check information (where applicable).
B. Location Data
- Riders: We collect your precise or approximate location data from your mobile device if you enable us to do so to provide ride services, calculate fares, and improve safety.
- Drivers: We collect your precise location data when the Spreant Driver app is running in the foreground or background to match you with riders, track trip progress, and calculate earnings.
C. Financial Data
Financial information, such as data related to your payment method (e.g., valid credit card number, card brand, expiration date) that we may collect when you purchase, order, return, exchange, or request information about our services from the Apps. All payment data is stored by our payment processor(s) and you should review their privacy policies and contact them directly to respond to your questions.
D. Device Data
We automatically collect device information (such as your mobile device ID, model, and manufacturer), operating system, version information and system activities.
2. How We Use Your Information
Having accurate information about you permits us to provide you with a smooth, efficient, and customized experience. Specifically, we may use information collected about you via the Apps to:
- Create and manage your account.
- Facilitate ride requests and match riders with drivers.
- Process payments and issue earnings.
- Track ride progress for safety and support.
- Provide customer support and respond to your inquiries.
- Send you administrative information, such as updates, security alerts, and support messages.
- Monitor and analyze usage and trends to improve your experience with the Apps.
- Prevent fraudulent transactions, monitor against theft, and protect against criminal activity.
3. Disclosure of Your Information
We may share information we have collected about you in certain situations. Your information may be disclosed as follows:
- Between Riders and Drivers: To facilitate a ride, we share certain information.
- Riders see: Driver's name, profile picture, vehicle make/model/license plate, average rating, and real-time location.
- Drivers see: Rider's name, pickup/drop-off locations, and profile picture (if provided).
- Third-Party Service Providers: We may share your information with third parties that perform services for us or on our behalf, including payment processing, data analysis, email delivery, hosting services, customer service, and marketing assistance. (e.g., Google Maps for routing, Firebase for database/auth).
- By Law or to Protect Rights: If we believe the release of information about you is necessary to respond to legal process, to investigate or remedy potential violations of our policies, or to protect the rights, property, and safety of others, we may share your information as permitted or required by any applicable law, rule, or regulation.
4. Tracking Technologies
We may use cookies, web beacons, tracking pixels, and other tracking technologies on the Apps to help customize the Apps and improve your experience.
5. Data Retention and Account Deletion
We retain your information while your account remains active, unless you request deletion of your information or account. Subject to exceptions described below, we delete or anonymize your information upon request.
A. How to Request Account Deletion
You can request the deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time by:
- In-App: Navigating to the Settings or Profile menu within the Spreant Ride or Spreant Driver app and selecting the "Delete Account" option.
- Email: Sending an email to
support@spreant.live with the subject line "Account Deletion Request" from the email address associated with your account.
B. What Happens When You Delete Your Account
Upon receiving an account deletion request, we will delete your account and associated personal data from our active databases.
C. Exceptions (Data We Retain)
Even after an account deletion request, we may retain certain data for a specified period if required by law or for legitimate business purposes, such as:
- Legal & Regulatory Compliance: Maintaining records of financial transactions for tax purposes.
- Safety & Security: Retaining data to prevent fraud, investigate safety incidents, or address outstanding debts associated with the account.
- Dispute Resolution: Retaining data to resolve ongoing disputes or claims.
Any data retained for these purposes will be stored securely and will not be used for any other purpose.
6. Security of Your Information
We use administrative, technical, and physical security measures to help protect your personal information. While we have taken reasonable steps to secure the personal information you provide to us, please be aware that despite our efforts, no security measures are perfect or impenetrable, and no method of data transmission can be guaranteed against any interception or other type of misuse.
7. Your Rights and Choices
- Account Information: You may at any time review or change the information in your account or terminate your account by logging into your account settings or contacting us.
- Location Information: You can prevent your device from sharing location information through your device's system settings. However, doing so may impact your ability to use the full functionality of the Apps.
